education at its lowest point

BEHASCI (Behavioral Science) is a subject that gives a broad introduction to psychology and sociology-its subject matter, its method for developing and evaluating explanations of behavior and social organization, and how it can be applied to improve one’s life within a community. It represents the beginning of a journey to increase student’s intellectual skills and emotional insight, improve himself and his relationships with others, and provide a basis for subsequent learning about human behavior and relationships.
By reading the description of the subject, you will be eager to attend the class and listen to what the professor would say. the subject is very interesting because it says that you can develop behavioral evaluation skills and how it can be used to improve a persons life. However the things being taught and the scenario inside the classroom are very different.
I am very frustrated with my BEHASCI professor because of several reasons.
1. she speaks in English in a very uncomfortable way and often that i hear words and sentences that are grammatically incorrect.
2.I hate the way she speaks. I feel that I’m listening to somebody who is trying hard to put unnecessary accent to his/her words.
3. she can’t sustain my interest. she is so boring.
4. the way she brings the lesson is so elementary, she just reads the lesson and makes a little explanation of it.
5. her explanations or examples are sometimes irrelevant.
6. she often inserts some comments or issues to her favorite students during discussions which makes the other students unable to relate to what she is saying.
7. the presentations that she uses during discussions were made by her former students which is naturally incomplete and unreliable.
8. she always reason out that it is ok for her to do this and that because she gave us the exemption of reporting a lesson for the class.
9. she gives exams orally which makes the question capable of being altered whenever her favorite students requests for a change.
10. i can’t absorb any lesson coming from her.
errr! its just so frustrating. she is making me consider the option of not to attend her class, study at home and use my two hours of being frustrated for something more fruitful.
in the end the only thing that i can do is to give her a perfect 1 (6 being the highest) in the evaluation and write a summary of this in the comment.
even if feu-east asia college is starting to get more competitive by upgrading the curicullum being used you can still feel the education at its lowest point because of professors like her.
